Main Street Fort Dodge volunteers include many individuals and groups from throughout the community. Each group has a particular focus and all share the common goal of a strong downtown business district. As ambassadors for the program, these volunteers help increase public awareness and build the image of a quality organization. As a committee or board member, volunteers are asked to publicly and privately support all facets of the program. We welcome your volunteer participation and your thoughts!
There are many opportunities for you to get involved with the Main Street Self Supported Municipal Improvement District. Whether it's planting flowers, distributing flyers or helping us Build a Better Block©, there's something for everyone. Not only is this an excellent way of giving back to the community, this is also a great way of meeting new people and having fun!
Main Street is always accepting new members for each of our five standing committees: Communication, Design, Fundraising and Promotion. Click here for a detailed description of each committee's responsibility.
